Program description | The MA program is a 15 week program (400 hours) in length, this program is to train students to learn anatomy and phsyiology, patient care, taking vitals, pharmacology, medical ethics, phlebotomy, E.K.G., Microbiology, asepsis, and front/back office skills, supplemented with clinical externship and also to assist physicians, physician assistants and nurses in hospitals, clnics, nursing homes, health insurance companies, medical supply businesses, etc. |
Entrance requirements | All prospective students must be motivated, have a desire to learn, be responsible and must demonstrate the ability and intelligence to master the subject matter. All eligible students are accepted without regard to sex, color, age, religion or ethnicity. The students must be 18 years of age or over to apply without the parental consent. Applicants under the legal age must have written consent of a parent or a legal guardian. The candidates should have successfully completed High School diploma or its recognized equivalent GED. For applicants not having High School diploma or GED, ability to benefit will be determined by personal interview with the Director and /or appropriate ABT testing. English Language Proficiency (TOFEL or its equivalent), for International students only. |
