Program description | The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) requires that all Long-term Care Workers (LTCs) acquire the Home Care Aide (HCA) Certificate by undergoing a 75-hour basic training course. LTC workers are those who work in residential care settings such as assisted living facilities (ALF), adult family homes (AFH), and home-care agencies. They include caregivers and individual providers (IPs). |
