Program description
The Patient Care Technician Certificate program is a cluster of planned, sequenced instruction designed to prepare a cross-trained health care worker. With multiple exit points, the program consists of the following modules: nursing assistant, EKG technician, monitor technician, phlebotomy technician, and advanced nurse assisting/emergency room technician skills. Students are prepared to function as advanced patient caregivers under the supervision of the registered nurse or as an emergency room technician.
